The back of the Caterpillar

Hello Folks,

This is a picture from the top of Mount Gillen looking along the ridge to the Gap.
I climbed up there with a mate recently and it was a fantastic walk that didn't take very long at all.

Yipirinya is the Arrernta word for caterpillar (Arrernta the local language group in the area of Alice Springs). The MacDonnell Ranges we can see from our house is the caterpillars marching across the landscape.

Just experimenting with picture uploads so bear with me while I think of things to upload. Hmmm... The possibilities are endless now.

Here In Alice

After traveling for a little while to get to the Great Red Center we have finally arrived. More importantly we have internet now so I can finally talk to people around the world.

I 'll try to keep posting stuff to here and keep it relatively up to date. So here goes.
